Many have criticized our statements that Sprint was planning to launch EV-DO with the merger’s Day One. At the time, we confirmed that it was possible that the Samsung 940 would launch with the merger, we also stated that it was possible no EV-DO phone would be available on Day One. Not only does this confirm our reporting was accurate and that the situation was in-fact fluid and developing, but it also confirms Sprint is planning to re-brand the A940 as simply 940. We will continue to provide accurate information as the situation develops. Speculation will always be stated as such on PCS Intel, when we report something we always have evidence to confirm it, and we thank those that continue to trust us when we make such reports.
