The FCC has approved the first T-Mobile Sidekick device with 3G access, meaning that the device will launch on T-Mobile with support for its rapidly expanding 3G network.
This follows up initial reports that the next major version of the venerable messaging-oriented and increasingly multimedia capable device would feature 3G access as well as a raft of new features designed to take advantage of the faster connection.
