Following up on the announcement of the Hub VOIP home and mobile bridge last week, Verizon has launched the device as scheduled.
As reported previously, the Hub features a 7-inch widescreen display with the capability to access Verizon Wireless services such as Chaperone and Navigator, with SMS/MMS functionality on top of being a cordless VOIP phone with unlimited calls to and from the device when purchased with a $34.99 monthly service plan on top of high-speed internet access charges and an existing Verizon Wireless account.
The device is available from Verizon Wireless for $249.99 before an additional $50 mail-in rebate, bringing the total to $199.99, with a monthly fee of $34.99 a month.
