While a bit discontinued, some just want a basic smartphone for contact management and casual web usage. A Motorola Q for only $75 (without contract) is perfect for these type of users. It also makes for a great backup device for when your smartphone fails during that software update.
To get the deal, you must be a Live Search Cashback member (which is free). Sign up, then go to this discount page. Scroll down to CellPhoneShop and click GoToStore. Currently, the discount for using Live Search Cashback is 50% off your purchase.
On the navigation tab (when you reach the store), click the Cell Phone store on the left. It should be the second link on the navigation bar. From there, you will see the Sprint Motorola Q for $150. Buy it. When checking out, use the coupon code freeship for free regular shipping.
After a few weeks, Live Search Cashback should credit you $75, which is half the cost of the phone, brining the total for the Q itself down to just $75.
Other good deals on the site? iPhone-compatible AV cables for $4 (with discount), and HTC batteries for $4 to $6 (with discount).
Extra 8% Off Coupon Code: CELL8
We strongly advise against using that coupon. The Live Search Cashback terms state that any discount coupon voids the cashback. You could be trading a 50% discount for an 8% discount.
This does not appear to apply to free shipping codes, from experience.
What kind of reporting is this when you use Sprint in headline and state it is for a Sprint phone and then use a Verizon branded Q. What happened to quality reporting with quality checks before posting? This may be the web and a free site but this is hugh blunder.
@ Jimmie:
While the picture posted with the news item is for a Verizon Q, the one for sale on Cellphoneshop’s website is for a Sprint Q. Not a huge blunder IMHO, just a small oversight for those who actually took advantage of the deal. The picture here I’m guessing is the one on the Phonenews wiki…
Oh I think that VZ Q (which is what I have) pic there was hilarious. I LMAO when I saw that.
