The first details on the expected third generation of the Moto X have apparently leaked and they seem to share similarities to the current Verizon-exclusive DROID Turbo, at least according to information received by STJS Gadgets.
The similarities begin with the same 5.2-inch 1440 x 2560 resolution display found on the DROID Turbo and will have a pixel density of 565ppi. Motorola is also said to have decided on the hexa-core Snapdragon 808 chipset also found on the recently announced LG G4, with 4GB of RAM.
There will also be two variants of the phone according to the leak, one with 32GB of internal storage and the other with 64GB. A 16MP Clear Pixel main camera will be on the back while a 5-megapixel front camera will handle selfies and video chat. Android 5.1.1 will be pre-installed and the phone is expected to be announced in September.
