Nokia has released information on the upcoming successor of the 6300; the 6300i. With the pricing and the availability unknown, the 6300i will be supporting a gray look where the 6300 had a black and a very light gray color scheme.
Although the specs and the body of the phone are almost identical, the 6300i has been fitted with WiFi, 30 MB of internal memory and comes with a 512 MB card (microSD) which is expandable to 4GB where as the 6300 was expandable to only 2GB.
Most important however, is that the 6300i will come with Nokia Maps pre-installed, making it the first Series 40 device to have the application.
hi my phone is 6300 but i donot know is 6300i
can you help me i can recive this program in my phones because this program do not my phones
Unfortunately, that usually means you can’t upgrade. When Nokia adds an “i” to the end of phones after their release, it usually means they are intentionally requiring people to buy a new phone.
You can try running Nokia Update, checking our Firmware Tracker (on the Phone Encyclopedia), and checking with Nokia or your manufacturer to see if an update is available for your 6300.
