The FCC has revealed an interesting handset with branding from one of the largest financial institutions in the country.
The Citi Plus II is manufactured by Chinese manufacturer Mobicom and features a four-way navigation pad and accelorometer used to navigate through menu selections, dual band GSM 850/1900 support, built-in media player with an undetermined amount of internal storage, Bluetooth support, and support for NFC technology to make payments using the phone.
Neither Citi nor any American carrier have announced launch plans for the device, but both AT&T and T-Mobile have conducted trials with NFC enabled handsets in the past.
