In a news release published today, Sprint announced that it will launch a domestic unlimited pricing plan that gives customers unlimited voice, data, text, e-mail, Web-surfing, Sprint TV(SM), Sprint Music, GPS Navigation, Direct Connect(R) and Group Connect(R) for $99.99 a month. This plan will be available to new and existing customers beginning on February 29th marketed as the “Simply Everything(SM)” Plan.
Sprint’s freshman CEO Dan Hesse is quoted as stating, “Wireless today is about much more than just voice. It is about data services – texting, email, video, pictures, music, navigation, surfing the Web and more.”
No other carrier, for $99.99, is offering what combined internet, voice, and multimedia services at that price. This plan is available to customers on Sprint customers on either the CDMA or iDEN networks. Current customers can upgrade to the Simply Everything plan without extending their current contract. As always, a new line activation will require a two-year agreement.
If you are interested on the family level, Simply Everything(SM) will offer an incremental $5 discount for each line up to 5 lines on the same bill e.g. two line would amount to $194.98 ($99.99 + 94.99). This is also one of the shinning differences between carriers which can offer tremendous savings the more lines a customer adds.
A thread on our PhoneNews.com Forums about Simply Everything has been started here.
In speaking with a rep back when this was offered in limited markets she stated that if you had a data card you would get a discount. I think it amounted to like $140 for one unlimited line AND unlimited data card.
Anyone have more information on this?
this not the same and is not available in affiliate markets
None of Sprints plans are available in affiliate markets. They set their own prices as they own the network in that area.
I called and they said no employee discoint, or any discounts will be vaailable with the simply anything plans.. That what I was told.. WHo knows if its right though
Yea, you can’t add any discounts with the simply everything plans as their normal unlimited plan is for 199.99 they can’t apply any additional discounts. I was told by a several reps the system with automatically reject the discounts. Even without the discounts those ppl who were paying 199.99 will still be saving a lot more than with a discount.
