Sprint has announced in a press release that it has partnered with Motorola to launch and deploy a new gateway that enables users of DirectConnect services to interact with users of Project 25 land mobile radios while still keeping additonal features such as Group Calls, Call Alert Status Messages, Talkgroup Calls and Emergency Alerts active.
The MOTOBRIDGE is an all IP based gateway that enables the above mentioned DirectConnect features to work seamlessly as well as featuring built-in scalability to support multiple agencies at once, multiple communication standards, and multiple users.
