Verizon may finally be cracking under the pressure being exerted by T-Mobile’s UnCarrier initiative as internal documents have revealed a modification of the current Share Everything plan slate known as More Everything.
The plans are set to go live tomorrow with a focus on those customers that are both on the Share Everything plans and on Verizon’s Edge early upgrade program, with the 500MB, 1GB and 2GB Share Everything data tiers being doubled to 1GB, 2GB and 3GB for the same monthly price.
Plans will also include 25GB of cloud based storage and unlimited international messaging and discounts for those on Verizon Edge plans, as plans that include 8GB of data per month or less, will get a $10 per month cut in price while those Verizon Edge plans at 10GB of data or more per month will receive a $20 a month price cut.
Verizon customers who are currently signed up for a “Share Everything” plan will automatically be migrated to the appropriate “More Everything” tier with no action needed and Verizon customers who purchased a new subsidized phone before November 13th will be able to take advantage of an open enrollment period to move to Verizon Edge through March 31st.
Update: Verizon has confirmed the above plus a new security feature called Family Base and a new International Long Distance Value Plan with rates as low as one cent a minute.
