Following up on the Sprint Easy Pay announcement, Sprint has also announced one of the first devices that will be able to be purchased under the program in the LG G Flex. The phone will be offered at the end of the month for $299.99 under a conventional 2 year agreement and under the Easy Pay program for a down payment of $149.99 with 24 equal payments of $20.84 per month, and a final payment of 20.68. Sprint has launched pre-orders for the G Flex beginning today and will be available in Sprint retail stores starting on February 7. Those that pre-order will also get a free Quickwindow Folio Case, which regularly sells for $59.99.
The phone features a 6-inch, 720p curved Plastic OLED display powered by a Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB of RAM with a 13-megapixel camera housed above the two rear control button layout from the G2 with a new curved battery design, though it does not feature a microSD slot. The G Flex’s other claim to notability is that the phone features a self-healing coating that can repair hairline scratches on the rear of the phone to keep the phone looking new longer. LG has stated they are repaired “within minutes.”
