Sprint has launched the PowerSource ic602 Buzz+ phone. The phone, like all other PowerSource devices, uses Sprint’s CDMA network for voice and data, and uses Nextel’s iDEN network for push-to-talk.
This revision of the ic502 adds a VGA camera and an 810F Mil-spec approved design for durability and resistance to shock, vibration, dust, drops, low pressure, extended solar radiation, and hot/cold climate resistance in addition to DirectTalk off-network walkie-talkie access, speakerphone, GPS support, and 1xRTT (Vision) data access.
The phone is now available for $189.99 online before an additional $40 mail-in rebate, bringing the total to $149.99.
