T-Mobile has launched the Shadow which is planned to be the first of many devices under the new brand, also known as the HTC Juno. The Windows Mobile 6 Standard device is the first to include T-Mobile’s custom user interface designed to improve ease of use by assigning shortcuts to common features without navigating the standard Windows Mobile interface.
The slider form factor phone features a QVGA display, quadband GSM/EDGE, converged QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP stereo audio support, microSD expansion slot, support for T-Mobile Address Book remote contact backup service, 2.0 megapixel camera with video recorder, voice dialing, and Wi-Fi radio but does not explicitly mention support for HotSpot @Home.
The phone is now available for $199.99 online after instant discount and new 2 year agreement before and additional $50 mail-in rebate bringing the total to $149.99.
