Sprint Announces LG Rumor

Sprint has officially announced the pending launch of the long-awaited LG Rumor through a press release and teaser site.

The phone features a sliding QWERTY keyboard for messaging, 1.3 megapixel camera with video recorder, speakerphone, voice dialing, POP3 email client, media player, microSD expansion slot with support for 4GB memory cards, and support for both Sprint Navigation and the Sprint Music Manager for loading music onto the phone and managing music back and forth between the phone and PC.The phone is slated for a launch on October 21st online and through Best Buy locations, with a November 4th launch in Sprint Retail locations for $129.99 after $150 instant rebate before an additional $50 mail in rebate bringing the total to $79.99.
