Verizon has launched the Samsung U740 in a more formal black
finish. The phone is also noted for being a dual clamshell form factor
with a normal vertical flip, as well as a horizontal lock that
activates the screen in landscape mode for use as a messaging device
with the integrated QWERTY keypad. The phone is available for $99.99
after a new 2 year agreement at $149.99 and $50 instant online rebate.
