Verizon today announced the launch of the V740 ExpressCard by Novatel
Wireless. This is the first EVDO Rev. A ExpressCard on Verizon. From
the press release:

reliable connectivity,” said Brad Weinert, acting chief executive
officer and chief operating officer for Novatel Wireless. “Paired with
Verizon Wireless’ BroadbandAccess service, the V740
ExpressCard offers
the latest technology available for EV-DO Rev. A networks.”
The card features support for Windows 2000/XP/Vista and Mac OSX 10.4.8
and higher with a flip up antenna to maximize signal reception and a
dual color status LED to indicate service. Optional accessories for the
card include an adapter for, and two types of external antennae
as well as an adapter for PCMCIA (PC Card) slots.
The card is currently available online for $229.99 on a one year
agreement or $179.99 on a two year agreement, both requiring
appropriate data plans. The retail launch of the card is expected on
March 30th.
