Following its previous Galaxy series announcement, Samsung has also announced its own cross-platform messaging service and platform in ChatON, which will be made available for its non-smartphone lineup as well as iOS, BlackBerry, Android and its own Bada platform.The service will also be made available online as a dedicated web portal with core functionality centered on commenting on profiles, sending animated messages and visualizing most frequently contacted friends, with group chat and public/private chat rooms. The service will launch in a total of 120 countries and 62 languages next month. Below, a demo video of the service in action.
