According to Sprint internal documentation, Sprint will be rolling out two new updates, a launch update for the forthcoming Conquer 4G and a bugfix update for the EVO 3D. The Conquer 4G update will address last minute launch security issues while the EVO 3D update will address the following:
lockscreen issues, Bluetooth contact transfer, Facebook contact birthday sync, GPS location lock issues, Spiderman demo freezing and increased complete removal rights for Sprint installed applications. The Conquer 4G update will be rolled out via OTA upon activation on its launch date of August 21st, while the EVO 3D update will be staged on August 23rd with a manual update required.
