Wondering if 1,000 poorly-targeted limited edition phones can actually ever be sold? The Sony Ericsson T608 sold 10,000, but the limited-edition VM-A680 Diane Von Furstenberg Limited Edition phone aparrently can’t sell as well as a phone with zero marketing. Released two years ago with a stated production run of only 1,000 units, sales have been so poor that Wirefly has been handed off the remaining units… two years after the phone’s release. The generally obsolete phone also sells for almost the same retail price as current phones such as the LG LX-350 and Nokia 6165i, at $199.99.
