When will the Octane be released? I’m waiting to upgrade til these phones come out…

So I just got off the phone with Verizon Wireless and got only 6 months credit for the data plan I was REQUIRED to pay when I first got the phone a couple of years ago. I’ve been paying 9.99 a month for two phones since we got them, even though we didn’t actually want a data plan. The policy change, but Verizon did not inform customers that the data plan was no longer required, but if they happened to figure this out and call, it was removed. The representative informed me at first that she could only give me two months credit, then when I pushed, she went up to six months credit. She was unable to tell me when the policy actually changed so I am sure that I am entitled to even more of a refund. Does anyone know when the policy actually changed?
