Third-party wireless phone retailer Wirefly has revealed the first handset manufactured by ZTE for Verizon in the Salute, which will be branded as the Verizon Wireless Salute. Verizon has confirmed that the carrier will offer the phone directly via its sales channels in the next few weeks.
The Salute is a mid-range vertical slider featuring a 1.3 megapixel camera, support for VZ Navigator, Bluetooth, QVGA display, speakerphone and speakerphone. The phone is being sold by Wirefly for free with new agreement.
