    Why would they do this? This is going to hurt them more then it will help them. The only reason I still have the TP2 is because I have a custom rom on it and without it the phone is crap. This is unbelievable. Lets hope htc gets smart and stops this nonsense.

    agreed! the only reason i got an htc was because of the ability to root and rom it (at the time the moto droid could not be romd)… if they really try and kill out this community they will kill their best customers
