Cingular has launched Push To Talk today. Launching only with the LG F7200, Cingular promotes their new service as having more PTT coverage than any other network. Cingular is leveraging their free national roaming agreements, as well as their two GPRS/EDGE networks in making this claim, and is confirming PTT services will work transparently while roaming, similar to all other Cingular services on current plans.
Cingular plans to also launch the Samsung D357 with PTT shortly. The plan will cost $9.99 per line, or, $19.99 for all lines of a family plan. Both plans include unlimited PTT airtime usage.
