Verizon and Samsung have jointly announced the forthcoming launch of the Samsung Reality multimedia and messaging oriented feature phone, now set for this Thursday April 22nd at a cost of $79.99 after new 2 year agreement and $50 mail-in rebate, as previously reported.
The phone features the TouchWiz user interface along with a QWERTY keyboard, 3.0 inch WQVGA resolution touch display, HTML browser and a 3.2 megapixel camera with flash/video recorder.
Additional features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, microSDHC memory card slot, Bluetooth with stereo audio support, Bing search, Verizon’s V CAST service and VZNavigator. The $10 data plan requirement is also in effect for the phone.
In related news, the phone will be released this coming weekend in Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile locations for $69.99 after new 2 year agreement or qualified upgrade.
Why would you downgrade the screen? Verizon is just full of it.
