Sprint Hero Maintenance Release Update on April 9th

Information has surfaced via internal documentation regarding the Sprint Hero receiving a fix for Picture Mail issues on April 9th as part of a larger Maintenance Release.

As Sprint has previously stated a second quarter 2010 timeframe for the long-awaited Android 2.1 update for its device lineup, it remains to be seen whether the fix is in fact a part of the Android 2.1 rollout for the device, or a simpler hotfix designed to address that specific issue.
