As expected, Verizon has launched the Motorola Devour Android smartphone after being launched via third-party retailers last month.
The Devour features a sliding 3.1 inch HVGA resolution capacitive touch display, QWERTY keyboard, Android 1.6 with MotoBLUR user interface, Bluetooth with stereo audio support, pre-installed 8GB microSD card with support for 16GB cards, Wi-Fi radio, 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS support via VZNavigator and dedicated transceiver undepinned by a Qualcomm MSM 7627 chipset with hardware accelerated GPU, 512MB ROM and 256 MB RAM.
Pricing is set at $479.99 Retail/Month to Month, $319.99 on a 1 year agreement or $249.99 on a 2 year agreement before an additional $100 rebate bringing the totals to $219.99 and $149.99 respectively.
