After months of speculation and anticipation Motorola and Sprint have jointly announced the forthcoming launch of the Motorola i1.
The i1 will feature a 3.1 inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen display, Wi-Fi radio, Bluetooth with stereo audio support, M810F certified bodyshell for resistance to shock, vibration and intense rain, Microsoft Document Viewer, Android standard and Swype virtual keyboards, 5.0 megapixel camera with flash, geo-tagging and panoramic imaging with video recorder along with media player and microSDHC card slot.
The i1 will also feature both the Android standard web browser along with Opera Mini 5 pre-loaded along with access to the Android Marketplace via Wi-Fi.
The device will be available this summer and as expected will require an Everything Data plan for activation and purchase, with the dedicated portal for pre-registration now open.
This phone looks awesome and its military spec. If only it had htc sense.
I love the look, this is something that is badly needed on the Nextel IDEN network
