Yahoo! Mail Adds SMS Messaging Support

Yahoo! has added text messaging support to its venerable web-based email service today as part of a trio of new features unveiled including integrated Messenger and Search support.

The service is compatible with all carriers and simply requires a valid cellphone number, keeping in mind the 160 character limit for SMS. The service is now available in the US, Canada, India, and the Philippines.
