The official Windows Phone blog has confirmed that Windows Phone 7 will feature support for a new service dubbed Windows Phone Live which will be a web-based sync and mobile device support site featuring OneNote support, contacts and photo sync along with tools for recovering a lost or stolen device with remote wipe, location, lock or ring support in a nod to similar services offered by East Asian carriers.
When launched later this year the site will also feature access to SkyDrive with 25GB of remote storage, Office and Zune support for media sync. In related news, Windows Phone 7 will support 5 languages; English, French, Italian, German and Spanish while the Windows Phone Marketplace will support application sales in 17 countries which include Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, UK and the United States.
