According to the Microsoft Worlwide Partner Conference Keynote, the Windows Marketplace will be opening application submission to registered developers on July 27th, with the biggest news being that the Marketplace will indeed be offered on devices running Wndows Mobile 6.0 and 6.1 instead of being exclusive to 6.5 as was expected during the first announcements of the store by Microsoft.
The store itself will debut by the end of the year with Microsoft accepting applications for the marketplace in all the 29 supported countries and hosting an application contest on the same day submission opens up.
Microsoft has also stated that it will be creating a dedicated Business Center which will focus on and help deliver applications to its business customers through targeted sales
