Following our exhaustive coverage this past weekend, Virgin Mobile has officially launched its first Android device in the Samsung Intercept via Target.
Identical to the Sprint version, the Intercept features a hardware QWERTY keyboard, 3.0 inch capacitive touch display at 400×240 resolution, 3.2 megapixel camera with video recorder and autofocus, microSDHC slot with support for 32GB cards, Bluetooth with stereo audio support and Android 2.1.
The Intercept will be available online via Virgin Mobile in the middle of the month with more retailers later this year.
I had heard Best Buy and other retailers may be caring the Intercept in the next few weeks. Can anybody confirm this?
