Verizon has announced that it will launch its third Windows Phone 8 smartphone in the Samsung ATIV Odyssey on Thursday January 24th for $99.99 after a new 2 year agreement before an additional $50 mail-in rebate bringing the total to $49.99.
The ATIV Odyssey features a 4-inch AMOLED display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 5.0 megapixel camera with LED flash, and LTE along with Samsung’s own built-in apps in the Now app, which provides easy access to weather, news, stocks and more, a built-in Photo Editor app with filters, frames and stickers in addition to resizing, rotating and cropping photos; and a Mini Diary app where diary entries can include pictures, drawings, location and audio.
What a joke…. I’m ready for the actual ATIV to come out…. Not this lower classed waste of time, money, and energy… Leave it to Verizon to offer its customers the lower end of the totem pole…. Meanwhile the likes of Sprint, T-Mobile have unlimited data and AT&T (Along with Sprint and T-Mobile) get the better devices…. Not impressed with a little 4 inch windows 8 phone when a 4.8 inch Windows 8 phone made to the likes of the GS3 will be released…. Time to switch… Verizon just showed themselves with their true customers and just how much they care about the consumer…
