New information has surfaced on the Huawei-sourced UMG181 USB modem from internal T-Mobile documentation.
The modem will be available on March 25th with its own service plan that starts at $59.99 per month for 5GB of data per month with the caveat that the modem will only be offered to current customers for as yet unknown reasons. Further information has also surfaced on the functionality of the device with a microSDHC slot and built-in T-Mobile Connection Manager software for one step automatic install and network selection depending on availability.
No pricing information is available for the modem at this time.
