T-Mobile internal documentation have confirmed that the release of the myTouch 3G Fender Limited Edition is now set for January 20th after missing its originally intended holiday season launch.
As previously reported, the myTouch 3G Fender Limited Edition features a 3.5mm headphone jack, bundled 16GB microSDHC card with selected music from artists that use Fender instruments, as well as the famous starburst woodgrain finish on the bodyshell.
Update: Following up, T-Mobile and Fender have officially announced the device and pricing will be set at $179.99 after new 2 year agreement and $50 mail-in rebate. Â It will be sold at select T-Mobile locations while supplies last with a new media player developed by HTC Â and will ship with Android 1.6 ahead of an eventual upgrade to version 2.1.
