T-Mobile MVNO GIV Mobile Offering Free Phone With Purchase Of Two Months Service

GIV Mobile, a T-Mobile powered MVNO run by the same company that runs sibling MVNO PTel has announced a new promotion whereby the charity-focused MVNO is giving customers that purchase a minimum of two months service by purchasing either the $40 or $50 plans a free phone in the Alcatel One Touch Android smartphone or instead receive a discount on the CoolPad Flo or HTC One S. The promotion also serves to promote the key driver of GIV Mobile’s business model, which is the service provider giving 8% of the monthly plan cost to a charity of the customer’s choice from a pre-screened list. The $40 plan features 500MB of monthly data and the $50 monthly plan features 2GB of monthly data access with unlimited domestic voice and messaging and an international call credit.
