T-Mobile yesterday launched their first city for UMA service. UMA VoIP service allows for seamless call handoff between cellular and WiFi networks, allowing users to not pay for minutes when at home, and keep the same number when traveling.
The service is available in Seattle as T-Mobile is testing the service for quality control before launching nationwide. Billed as Hot Spot @ Home, the $20/month UMA add-on also gives unlimited T-Mobile Hot Spot access when traveling, but does require a $39.99 plan or higher.T-Mobile Hot Spot @ Home
