As expected, T-Mobile has launched the BlackBerry Curve 3G weeks after being announced by RIM. The successor to the 8520 features T-Mobile 3G support along with an optical directional pad, Wi-Fi radio with wireless N support, microSDHC slot, media player and 3.5mm headphone jack along with Bluetooth with stereo audio support. RIM has also confirmed that the Curve 3G will receive a future update to BlackBerry 6.
Pricing is set at $329.99 or 20 payments of $16.50 per month on Even More Plus, while pricing on Even More plans is set at $129.99 after new 2 year agreement before an additional $50 mail-in rebate, bringing the total to $79.99.
