A new solution to permanently root the T-Mobile G2 has been successfully discovered by XDA Developers and applied after launching mere weeks ago with a more difficult to crack bootloader and NAND memory lock.
The method involves performing a temporary root, but care must be taken to follow instructions to the letter or end up with a paperweight.
