In a press release this morning, T-Mobile has announced the expansion of its 3G service footprint in 13 more markets since the official launch of the network on May 1st.Â
Customers in Austin, Baltimore, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Las Vegas, Miami, Minneapolis, New York (including northern New Jersey and Long Island), Phoenix, Portland, San Antonio and San Diego can now take advantage of the higher speeds offered by the UMTS/HSDPA enabled network if they own the Samsung T819, Nokia 6263, Nokia 3555, Samsung T639, or the recently released Sony Ericsson TM506.
T-Mobile has also pledged further expansion to Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, Orlando, Philadelphia, Sacramento, San Francisco and Seattle by mid-October with six additional markets in Birmingham, Denver, Detroit, Kansas City, Memphis and Tampa going live by the end of the year, with further expansion during 2009.
