T-Mobile has officially removed the FlexPay service plan option after months of internal warning. The FlexPay option was first rolled out in 2009 by the carrier in order to give potential customers with credit issues the opportunity to take advantage of postpaid offerings with certain limitrations, such as a spending limit and the capability to maintain service with prepaid cards.
While the FlexPay service plans will be grandfathered for those still under the plans, any changes such as adding an additional line will now force those customers to move to a standard Classic postpaid plan with a credit check or the newer Monthly 4G prepaid service plans.
