T-Mobile has quietly added two new phones to its lineup in the Kyocera Rally feature phone and the Alcatel OneTouch Pop Astro mid-range Android smartphone.
The Kyocera Rally features a conventional keypad and runs Qualcomm’s BREW platform along with a 1.8-inch display, a calendar, to-do list, and stopwatch functionality. The phone also includes a VGA camera with 1080p video capture, supports microSD memory cards for additional storage needs, and a 760mAh battery that provides up to four hours of talk time. The phone also includes Bluetooth 2.1+EDR with emphasis on hands-free and contact transfer profiles with a 3.5mm headphone jack rounding out the features. The phone is now available from T-Mobile Prepaid for $59.99.
The Alcatel OneTouch Pop Astro features a 4.5-inch 960×540 display and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek processor with 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage with a microSD slot. The main camera features a 5-megapixel sensor and LED flash while the front camera features VGA resolution. The phone also has a 2,000mAh battery. Alcatel has also confirmed that the Pop Astro supports VoLTE and T-Mobile’s WiFi calling feature while running Android 4.4 KitKat. T-Mobile has set pricing for the phone at $149.99 outright or as low as $6.24 per month for 24 months.
