Sprint TV Goes Live with Fox News *Updated*

Update: MobiTV is actually serving Fox News, alongside Sprint TV’s other channel offerings (which are already provided by MobiTV). This begs the question as to why MobiTV does not also offer the channel, but, MobiTV has a long-standing position to not respond to our inquiries.

Sprint consistently refused to answer our requests as to if Sprint TV could support live streaming feeds, MobiTV just got angry and stopped answering our emails when we asked them (smooth guys, real smooth). But, we now have the answer…

Yesterday, Sprint added Fox News to its Sprint TV channel lineup, and it is a live feed version channel, not a standard short-clip sequence. This puts Sprint TV in direct competition with MobiTV, who also provides most of Sprint TV’s non-premium content.
