PCS Intel has previously reported on Sprint’s plans to launch a RAZR, KRZR, and SLVR from Motorola, but more details have recently been confirmed.
Sprint will launch the Motorola V3c RAZR alongside the KRZR. This clears up recent concerns that Sprint would launch the KRZR in place of the RAZR. The RAZR will retail for $49.99 after rebate with new two-year agreement. Motorola will cross-promote the V3 as being on every carrier in time for the crucial holiday buying season.
The SLVR will follow, completing Motorola’s 2006 Sprint PCS lineup. While the KRZR and RAZR are intended to launch at the same time, Sprint will likely skew the launches slightly in order to allow stores to adjust to all new models released. The Motorola Q may launch in 2006, however it is not intended for holiday promotion, and will be intended for sale largely in 2007.
