Sneak16, a Best Buy sales rep reports that Best Buy will begin selling the Samsung A700, Samsung i600, and Audiovox PM-8920 in August.
While a Sprint version of the i600 has been rumored since the i600’s announcement, this would be the first real confirmation of Samsung delivering a Sprint version. Based on its release date, this would fall in-line with the delivery of Windows Mobile 2003 for Smartphones for the Verizon version of the i600, expected in days.
Sprint had stated their concern for releasing Samsung devices without 2003 updates built-in, it appears now that Samsung has delivered the update Sprint will pickup the device.
Sneak16 reports the prices for the devices as follows:
Samsung A700: $399.99
Samsung i600: $599.99
Sprint/Audiovox PM-8920: $299.99
Considering Sprint generally sends phones to Best Buy a couple of weeks after their inital release, it is possible that all three could be released as early as the middle of July.
