Sprint today has announced the launch of EV-DO Rev. A data services in Phoenix and Tempe Arizona.
Customers in this area can now take advantage of higher upstream and downstream data services with compatible devices, which currently only include PC cards from Novatel, Pantech, and Sierra Wireless as well as Novatel’s U720 USB Modem. Initially coverage will be concentrated around downtown Phoenix, Avondale, Sun City, Chandler, Tempe, Tuscon and Sky Harbor International Airport with expansions from those areas.
