Sprint has launched the BlackBerry Curve 3G smartphone.
The device features an optical directional pad, Wi-Fi radio with wireless N support, microSDHC slot, media player and 3.5mm headphone jack along with Bluetooth with stereo audio support. A future update to BlackBerry 6 will also be slated for the device while it will initially launch with BlackBerry OS5. Additional specifications include 512MB of RAM, visual voicemail support, microSDHC expansion slot and dedicated media player keys.
The device is now available online for It will retail for $149.99 with a new two-year service agreement before an additional $100 mail-in rebate. It will be available in stores on Sunday, Oct. 10.
