Today, an Illinois judge refused to grant iPCS’s motion to block the Sprint Nextel merger, though Sprint was ordered to not disclose certain key information in regards to iPCS’s affiliate agreement with Nextel.
This could potentially cause problems for Sprint in the future though, as it is unknown how Sprint can merge with Nextel if they are not allowed to disclose key portions of their affiliate agreement within the combined company. It appears though that the court will allow the merger to proceed.
