Multiple reports have confirmed that Sprint and Clearwire are quietly rolling out WiMax service in San Francisco with speeds of 5 and 7 Mbps down and 1.2 Mbps up with full signal indoors and speeds between 2 and 4 Mbps outdoors around the localities of Potrero Hill and in San Francisco proper. Neither Sprint nor Clearwire have officially confirmed a rollout date for service in San Francisco, but it has been slated for this year after months of delays.
