Sony Mobile has announced a new Xperia model meant for international markets in the T2 Ultra and Ultra Dual. The T2 Ultra features a 6-inch Triluminos display, with a resolution of 720×1280. The thin, 7.6mm thick phablet is powered by a quad-core, 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory with a microSD slot.
Sony also touts that the T2 Ultra features a best-in-class, 13-megapixel camera with an Exmor RS for mobile sensor with a 1.1-megapixel front-facing camera with an Exmor R sensor. The T2 Ultra is rounded out with NFC and LTE support powered by a 3000mAh sealed battery. The phone will be sold in single and dual-SIM configurations and pricing has yet to be announced, though Sony Mobile estimates that it will be sold for less than $550 when launched.
