Following up on the last announcement from Sony Mobile, the manufacturer announced a new midrange Android smartphone focused on music with the Xperia E1. The E1 features an unknown dual-core 1.2 Ghz processor with 512 MB RAM as well as 4 GB of internal storage with no immediate word on a microSD card slot. The Sony Xperia E1 will also employ a number of other features to try becoming an appealing smartphone such as a 100 dB loudspeaker, dual-SIM support and three color options in white, black and purple. Pricing is expected to land around $240, if not much less, owing to the impact of the Moto G.
